New this summer! This camp lets you get your hands dirty with computer hardware and how it all works. Students will learn what is inside these magical boxes, and how to assemble, disassemble and upgrade a desktop computer. If you want to bring your own computer parts to upgrade or build a whole computer at camp, please contact us and we will help you do that!

This camp is offered at our Chicago location (2867 N Clybourn Ave).
Camps are 3 hours long, and we break up the time and recharge brains and bodies with a 30 minute outdoor break. This may include walks around the neighborhood, social "hang-out" time at a green space, or casual games such as frisbee or basketball at our nearby park.
NOTE: We primarily use donated, older computers in this class. If you wish to use this camp to build a computer for yourself, please contact us 1-2 weeks in advance and we will give you guidance on how to select and purchase parts (at your own expense) prior to the start of the camp.
Note: Available in Chicago only
We are pleased to offer the option to add a half day of sports and games to this camp, with our partner, We Got Game.
Sports will primarily take place at Burley Elementary and may include swim time at Hamlin Park (dry activities will be accommodated for kids who don't swim).
The add-on includes lunch hour supervision at Hamlin Park, and an escorted walk between the two camps.
Please note that you will drop off in the morning at one camp and pick up in the afternoon at the other.
If you register in error, we have a 24 hour, no-fee cancellation policy. Just call us or email us within 24 hours and we will take care of it.
After that, you can receive a refund, less a $50 admin fee, up until 14 days before the camp starts.
There are no refunds within 14 days of camp start.
We offer a sibling discount for 2 children from the same family registered in the same program. The sibling discount is 10% and the code is SIBLING.
There is an Early Bird Discount of 10% on all registrations up to March 31. The discount will be applied automatically.
We do not offer price adjustments for missed days. Please select a week that works for your schedule.
Computers and all parts are provided for use during the camp.
NOTE: We primarily use donated, older computers in this camp. If you wish to use this camp to build a computer for yourself, please contact us 1-2 weeks in advance and we will give you guidance on how to select and purchase parts (at your own expense) prior to the start of the camp.
Camps are capped at 8 students, and will have a 4:1 ratio or better at this age group.
Our instructors are adults with post-secondary coding education. We hire talented high school students as teaching assistants and to provide near-peer interactions.
