Intermediate Language

Everyone loves their phone and apps! Now you can make your own!

Older Beginners or rising Intermediate coders can learn to create real mobile apps and games. You will unlock the secrets of making awesome apps, expand and boost your coding skills and gain new experience with programming for a different type of device.

What You Will Learn and Do

This class will teach you how to build a series of working mobile apps and games that are practical, clever and fun!

  • More challenging Coding, but some training wheels! Sharpen your knowledge of more advanced Coding concepts, while still working in a supportive, block-based environment.
  • Bring your phone to life! Design and build apps using the camera, microphone, accelerometer, pedometer, and other cool phone hardware and sensors.
  • Design the next viral mobile game! Learn game programming for mobile devices, using components such as a clock, canvas and sprites.

Apps will run on Android or iOS devices, including older models.

How Much Time Does it Take?

Learn to code with us in just one hour per week.

Just pick a consistent day and time for your coding lesson, with same classmates and instructor. We offer this class several times per week. (see below)

What Does it Cost?

Our pricing is simple and fair: Lessons are $30 per week, paid 2 months at a time.

We will prorate the fees if you join partway through a two month session.

What If You Miss a Class?

Fees are based on the number of scheduled lessons for your class, not on how many lessons you actually attend.

But, we want to make sure you don't miss out!

Just tell us in advance if you have to miss a class and we will find you another class to attend (same lesson not guaranteed).

Or, we can record your missed lesson and provide it to you to review at your convenience.
